Are you a Drama School, Actor Training Programme or Higher Education Centre in need of Vocal Support?

I can help your students by providing expert voice training either as regular sessions or one-off workshops on a variety of different topics; all tailored to your Institution's needs, to ensure better communication and confidence in speech for training actors and performing arts students

HOW will we work?

This really depends on your individual needs but we can work in a variety of ways:

If you require Voice support for Entry Level Auditions, I can help you by leading voice workshops at the primary or secondary stage of auditions for potential new students to offer further vocal analysis and diagnosis.

If your College needs Tutorial Support for Students, I can offer targeted voice training through individual tutorials and work practically with students, guiding them towards specific sounds or offering them further support in specific areas of Voice Work, e.g. vocal power and breath support.

If you would like to run specific Voice-based Workshop for students, I can offer two hour, half day or full day workshops for students, exploring voice through many areas including: Text, (e.g. Shakespeare, Greek text, Poetry); Voice and Movement; Accent & dialect; Sight-reading and Improvisation; Devised Theatre; Audition Techniques; Casting. For any additional topics, please contact me.

If students need specific Voice or Accent & Dialect support for an end of term production or graduation show, I can offer detailed accent and dialect work (including IPA phonetics); accent-based or general voice/movement warm-ups; and one-to-one tutorials with individual cast members.

I have worked as a Voice and Dialect Coach at numerous drama schools throughout London  and trained actors in technical voice, speech and articulation, phonetics, vocal anatomy, accent & dialect and vocal support for graduate productions at Foundation, Undergraduate and Post-graduate levels.

As a trained actor with a performance and teaching background, I approach voice work with an understanding of the performer's needs. My approach to voice work is holistic, starting at the foundations of release in the body and breath, to encourage ease of release into phonation and resonance, before exploring articulation for Speech. My Pilates and Physiotherapy training allows me to work with students on integrating voice and movement for an embodied understanding of the work and abdominal training to strengthen breath support musculature for Voice.

Multisensory learning styles (visual, verbal, aural and kinaesthetic) are supported in each of my sessions. Supportive learning resources are provided including handouts, worksheets, audio sound files, examples of exercises, target homework practice, recommended reading lists and web links for further learning.

Please Note: Bilingual (Spanish) sessions are available upon request.

HOW much will it cost?

Rates depend on what you need and how long you have to achieve it. Session prices vary according to location, class size, content and duration. Please contact me to further discuss your particular requirements.

HOW can I reach you?
